I decided to open an Etsy Shop because I love to sew & make crafts. I need to support my habit somehow. LOL! :)  You know how it is you can't spend all your money to your hobby.

This baby quilt is my first listing in my Etsy Shop.  I machine pieced 4x4 cotton fabric and embroidered with the wording & animals in pajamas. The back of the quilt is flannel print of baby hands & foot prints and white lace eyelet ruffle around it.  Size is 32 x 32 with the ruffle.  You can see the light blue fabric on the left which has a castle & stars which the background color in that block goes from light blue to darker blue and on the minty green squares has some stars on it too. I think it is very cute and my first one I am selling.  I just love to sew & quilt and make different crafts. It was sewed with love & would make a wonderful baby shower gift.

Dress Form Pin Cushion Dolls

I was looking for something fun to make from youtube.com and found these great dress form pin cushion dolls.  I made my first one and it was so much fun I had to make a bunch!  Of course so many fabrics & trims to accessorize them.  I found them on theDIYdish'schannel Kim & Kris has the pattern available to print. I just love accessorizing them! 

I just finished making 8 Dress Form pin cushion dolls. I made my first one a couple years ago and I had so much fun designing different ones. I sold about 8 of them at work. I had to make some more to share & sale. They are up for sale on my Etsy shop called SuzieQSewQuilt. I am selling them for $32 with free shipping. Sewing for fun!

I started sewing again last year.  I had a few projects unfinished of course.  I had some completed quilt tops and bunnies dolls that I put together and hadn't finished their faces and clothes for the bunnies. When I went back to visit my family in Ohio in the summer of 2013. I came back & said I was giving up my games on Facebook and I need to finish the quilt I started for my Mom & Dad. So, I completed it! They received it for Christmas of 2013.  I also completed a Hopscotch quilt for my niece for Christmas.
